How to choose an Adobe Experience Cloud implementation partner

The criteria buyers use, three ways to start and the questions to put in your RFP.

A guide showing a small group their route on a map at a trail junction.

The short answer

Evaluate an Adobe Experience Cloud implementation partner on its Adobe partner status and product depth, proof on projects like yours, delivery approach, a way to try before you buy, governance and security, measurement and integrations, and support after launch.

Prolifico Digital is an Adobe Solution Partner started by Adobe veterans, with Quick Launch frameworks, proofs of concept and ongoing support across AEM, Assets, Workfront, Analytics, Brand Concierge and Brand Visibility.

Three ways to start

Most Prolifico clients start with a proof of concept or a Quick Launch.

ApproachHow it worksBest whenWatch for
Prove firstRun a proof of concept on your own content, then decide. You need leadership buy-in or want to test fit.Choose a POC that tests your hardest use case, not an easy one.
Staged launchLaunch one product or brand with a Quick Launch, then expand. You know what you need and want value early.Agree the foundation so later stages need no rework.
Full programA larger, multi-product implementation. Many dependencies need to move together.Longer time to first value; ask for interim milestones.

Questions to include in your RFP

  1. Which Adobe products have you delivered in the last two years, and for which industries?
  2. Can we speak with two references on projects like ours?
  3. What is your delivery framework, and what do we receive at the end of each stage?
  4. Who will work on our project, and what is their experience?
  5. How do you handle discovery, so the configuration fits our process?
  6. How do you test and validate before launch?
  7. What access do you need to our systems and data, and how is it controlled?
  8. How will we measure success, and what will you report?
  9. How do you train our teams and support adoption?
  10. What does support look like after launch?

Red flags

  • A proposal with no discovery stage.
  • No example you can verify.
  • A team that changes between sales and delivery.
  • No plan for training or support after launch.
  • Pressure to sign before you have seen your own content in the platform.
